The issue’s original title in the issuer’s language is "Κυπριακή Προεδρία του Συμβουλίου της ΕΕ / Kıbrıs AB Konseyi Dönem Başkanlığı".
Obverse
The obverse (the national, commemorative side of the coin) depicts the logo of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU, inspired by Lefkara lace ("Lefkaritika") — the island’s traditional handmade embroidery. Along the upper edge is the Greek inscription "ΚΥΠΡΙΑΚΗ ΠΡΟΕΔΡΙΑ ΣΥΜΒΟΥΛΙΟΥ ΕΕ 2026", and below the name of the state in two languages, "ΚΥΠΡΟΣ KIBRIS".
