The coin is dedicated to a figure whose work has become part of Ukrainian culture and a recognizable sign of the era. The plot and design details emphasize the theme: it is dedicated to one of the oldest musical educational institutions in Ukraine and Europe, which, based on the results of its activities, has gained national and international recognition.
Obverse
On the obverse, the composition is readable at first glance: the official attributes of the state and the details of the plot work as a single whole. The obverse of the coin features a noticeably stylized composition: against the background of musical lines, a musical instrument is shown - a lyre, in the upper part of which is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, under it the inscriptions: UKRAINE/2/HRYVNI below: the sign of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine and the year of minting the coin - 2019. The portrait relief and decorative elements act as a calling card of the era and the talent of the coin's hero. The state emblem in the composition sets the official tone and balances the decorative elements. The corporate emblem of the NBU Banknote and Mint emphasizes the official origin of the issue. The texture of the field shows noticeable relief transitions: from thin strokes to deeper areas that catch the light beautifully when the coin is turned.

The reverse is dominated by a thematic motif, complemented by inscriptions and details that emphasize the idea of the issue. The reverse of the coin features an image of the academy building, above which is a portrait of the composer and teacher Mykola Lysenko and the inscriptions: LVIV NATIONAL MUSIC ACADEMY NAMED AFTER M. Solomia Krushelnytska is a world-class opera diva, who was called one of the best singers of her time. Her triumphs on the leading stages of Europe and America, as well as the popularization of Ukrainian music, made Krushelnytska's name a cultural brand of Ukraine.
