The coin honors the power of defense and the people thanks to whom the country is held - restrained and very expressive. The plot and details of the design emphasize the theme: the roll of the circulation commemorative coins "National Guard of Ukraine" is dedicated to the military formation, which combines combat and law enforcement functions and is part of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

In the center of the cross, in an octagon, a small State Emblem of Ukraine is shown.
