The commemorative coin conveys the idea of the issue through symbols, relief and expressive composition, which is pleasant to look at. The plot and design details emphasize the theme: dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the tragedy that occurred in the Babyn Yar tract in Kyiv during World War II. From September 1941 to the end of September 1943, it was a place of executions.

Reverse
The reverse is dominated by a thematic motif, complemented by inscriptions and details that emphasize the idea of the issue. The reverse of the coin shows an artistic composition that reflects the tragedy of Babyn Yar - anthropomorphic figures that supposedly lie underground and represent the executed families. In the upper part, the inscription is clearly visible: 80-ТИ РОКОВИНЫ/ТРАГЕДИЙ В БАБИНОМ ЯРУ. The careful relief and balance of the fields add to the product a collector's expressiveness. The texture of the field shows noticeable relief transitions: from thin strokes to deeper areas that catch the light beautifully when the coin is turned.
