The coin was created as a warm symbol of feelings and family moments that stay with us for a long time. The obverse side is built as a holistic scenography, where state symbols are combined with images of the issue theme. The inscription UKRAINE (in the upper part in the center), under which is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, the denomination 5 and the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, the sign of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the left side from the hands) and at the bottom in the center – the year of minting the coin 2024 (the zero is shown in the shape of a heart). On the obverse of the coin, a composition is visible on the mirror surface: parental hands that gently hold the baby's legs, symbolizing trust, a sense of protection and love that unites the family (in the center). The plot is warm and intimate: even small details enhance the feeling of light, care and harmony. The state emblem in the composition sets the official tone and balances the decorative elements. The corporate emblem of the NBU Banknote and Mint emphasizes the official origin of the issue.
Reverse
The reverse is the central story of the coin: the symbols are arranged so that the plot "comes to life" under different angles of light. It illuminates the child's path to the world of dreams and fantasies, granting carefree dreams. The reverse of the coin on the mirror surface shows a child sleeping peacefully on soft clouds among toys (decorative element - pad printing). The rattle, shining against the background of the night sky, like the moon, gives a feeling of peace and comfort. The plot is warm and intimate: even small details enhance the feeling of light, care and harmony. The texture of the field shows noticeable relief transitions: from thin strokes to deeper areas that beautifully catch the light when the coin is turned.
Historical context
