The coin is dedicated to the Ukrainian language - a living space in which memory, freedom and daily care for each other sound. The plot and details of the design emphasize the theme: “Parliamentarism” is dedicated to the system of political organization of the state, an important component of the country's democratic system, which is based on the principles of popular representation.
Obverse
The obverse presents the theme through a combination of state symbols, inscriptions and a finely thought-out relief. Below the coat of arms, an information board recognizable by all Ukrainians for displaying the voting results in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada is shown, under which the inscription UKRAINE and the year of minting - 2024 are indicated, on the left side - the sign of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine, on the right side - the denomination 5 with the graphic symbol of the hryvnia. This embodies the idea of the multifaceted nature of the Ukrainian people and emphasizes that every citizen, according to Article 3 of the Constitution of Ukraine, is the highest social value of our state. In the upper part, around the coat of arms, stylized silhouettes of modern Ukrainians are depicted, who are representatives of various social, age and professional groups. Between the silhouettes, the inscriptions are noticeable: RIGHTS, FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY, HUMANITY, DEFENSE OF THE HOMELAND, PEOPLE, PARLIAMENTARISM, DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY, INCLUSIVENESS, EQUALITY, EUROPEAN INTEGRATION and LAW, which reflect the fundamental principles of democracy. On the obverse of the coin, in the center of the composition, a small State Emblem of Ukraine is noticeably visible. The careful relief and balance of the fields add to the product a collector's expressiveness. The state emblem in the composition sets the official tone and balances the decorative elements. The brand name of the NBU Banknote and Mint emphasizes the official origin of the issue.
Reverse
The reverse side reveals the main image of the issue in expressive relief and a multilayered composition. The emblem of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is visible on the mirror surface in the center of the composition. On the reverse of the coin, a stylized Ukrainian ornament is clearly visible around the circumference. The careful relief and balance of the fields add to the product's collector's appeal. In the texture of the field, relief transitions are noticeable: from thin strokes to deeper areas that beautifully catch the light when the coin is turned.
Historical context
