The commemorative coin conveys the idea of the issue through symbols, relief and expressive composition, which is pleasant to look at. The plot and design details emphasize the theme: dedicated to those who strengthen the defense capability of Ukraine. Thanks to the implementation of innovative approaches and non-standard solutions, our gunsmiths create the latest weapons systems.
Obverse
The obverse combines tradition and modernity in one plane: the pattern of Ukrainian embroidery gradually "dissolves" in the pixel structure, hinting at the path from heritage to technology. In the upper part on the left side, a small State Emblem of Ukraine is presented, next to it is the inscription "UKRAINE", the denomination 5 and the graphic sign of the hryvnia, as well as the year of minting 2026. On the right is the sign of the NBU Banknote and Mint. In the lower zone, the composition is completed by the inscription "THANK YOU TO THE ARMOURERS!", which reads as a warm dedication to people of engineering work. The contrast of the relief and fields makes the small elements of the ornament expressive under different angles of light.
Reverse
The reverse is dedicated to the daily, often invisible work of Ukrainian gunsmiths. In the center is a generalized image of a master designer who is working intently on creating an unmanned aerial vehicle: fragments of a UAV are presented nearby, as well as a screen/monitor with an image of a drone, which emphasizes the technological nature of the plot. The composition is constructed so that the gaze moves from the figure to the details of the product, reading the logic of the process - from the idea to the finished protective instrument. The relief plastic conveys the tension of attention, and the technical accents add a sense of a modern laboratory.
Historical context
The plot of the coin is tied to an event or image that is important for Ukrainian memory. Such issues become small "time capsules": they preserve the emotion of the moment, a cultural sign, and recognizable symbolism for future generations. It will be an appropriate gift and a warm accent to the collection. It fits well with the collection and looks festive in the case.
